United States
American states lead the list, because the site serves the US before anywhere else. Each one explains how distance and travel work in that state, what the Strap on Dating Terms mean for residents there, how to keep a kink profile private in both cities and rural counties, and how to plan a first meeting well.
- Strapon dating in California: long distances between metro areas, a three business day cancel right for residents, and privacy in a state where tech and entertainment workplaces can be small worlds.
- Strapon dating in Texas: huge drives between cities, no state cancel right under the refund policy, and planning hotel meetings on long trips.
- Strapon dating in New York: transit around the city, upstate distances, the three business day cancel right, and keeping a profile discreet in dense neighborhoods.
- Strapon dating in Pennsylvania: two large metro areas at opposite ends of the state, smaller towns in between, and neighbors in Ohio and New York who have different refund rules.
- Strapon dating in Florida: a long peninsula, the Panhandle on the Alabama border where the age of 21 applies to Alabama residents, and meeting safely in a state full of visitors.
United Kingdom
- Strapon dating in London: prices in pounds sterling, why British buyers get no two-week cooling-off, getting around the capital after dark and discretion in a crowded city.
What every local guide covers
Getting there. Realistic travel times, whether a car is essential, and how to agree a distance you will actually travel.
Local rules from the Terms. The minimum age that applies to residents, whether a cancel right exists for new subscriptions, and how renewal works.
Privacy. How to stay discreet when the person browsing might live on your street, work in your industry or attend your gym.
Couples. How a pair can approach a single wearer in that area, and what to agree before anyone travels.
Gear. Practical points about buying a harness and toy discreetly, with no shop recommendations.
Meeting well. Public first meetings, hotels versus hosting, and telling a friend your plans.
Each guide also shows profiles of members near the place it covers, drawn from real accounts.
No local guide for your area yet?
You can still use Strap on Dating anywhere. Results are measured outward from your profile town by whatever distance you pick, so the site works the same whether you are in a big city or a rural county. Washington and Ohio are next in line for guides. In the meantime, the general advice in the how it works walkthrough and the safety advice applies everywhere.
Setting your search radius
Distance is personal. Before you set a radius, think about:
- How you travel. A car makes fifty miles easy; relying on buses makes ten miles a real commitment.
- How often you hope to meet. A regular arrangement needs someone close; an occasional weekend meeting can bear a longer trip.
- Whether either of you can host. If neither can, factor in a hotel.
- Privacy. You may prefer to search a little further from home on purpose, to avoid meeting a neighbor.
Start with the distance you would honestly travel on a weeknight, then widen it for weekend plans if the results are thin.
Ages and local law
Strap on Dating's Terms set 18 as the minimum age, rising to 21 for residents of Alabama, Mississippi, Nebraska and Wyoming, and wherever local law sets the age of majority higher. Each guide notes when a neighboring state follows a different rule, which matters near state lines.
Cancel rights by state
The refund policy gives residents of Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Rhode Island and Wisconsin a three business day window, ending at midnight, to back out of a fresh subscription. Of the states with guides, that covers California and New York. Texas, Pennsylvania and Florida are not on the list. In the UK, the policy says the 14 day cooling-off period does not apply. The pricing overview explains renewal and cancellation for everyone.

Why state level, not city level
Local guides are written for states and for London rather than individual towns. A state guide can cover the real questions, such as the distances between its cities, the rules that apply to residents and how privacy feels in its rural areas, without repeating the same advice for every town. Search does the city-level work: it measures from the town in your profile, whatever state you live in.
Traveling and searching away from home
If you travel for work or visit family in another state, you can change the town in your profile for the duration and search there. Be clear in your profile that you are visiting and on which dates. Meet in public, keep your own transport and let somebody back home know your whereabouts. Remember that state rules follow residence: a match who lives in Alabama must be 21 to use the site, even if you meet in Florida.
Meeting across a state line
Several metro areas spill across state borders: Philadelphia into New Jersey and Delaware, New York City into New Jersey and Connecticut, Pensacola toward Mobile. Set your radius by travel time rather than state lines, then check each match's age and arrangements before meeting.
The UK beyond London
Only London has a UK guide so far, but UK members anywhere can use the site, pay in pounds and search from their own town. The London guide's notes on billing and the absence of a 14 day cooling-off period apply across the UK.
How local profiles are chosen
Each local guide shows a small selection of profiles from that state or from London, drawn from real accounts with real photos and no explicit headlines. If no suitable profile is available, the space stays empty rather than showing a placeholder.
Requesting a guide
If your state is not covered yet and you would find a local guide useful, tell Support from the members area. Requests help decide which places come after Washington and Ohio. In the meantime, the search tools work exactly the same wherever you live, and the general guides in the articles section go deep on profiles, consent, gear and first dates.
